Inka Solutions Partners with BlueConic to Provide Best of Class Paywall Solution and Analytics Platform

Newspapers now able to target relevant digital communications more effectively

June 19, 2018, South Lake Tahoe, CA -- Inka Solutions announces a strategic relationship with BlueConic to enhance its long-standing suite of data intelligence solutions with BlueConic’s customer data platform (CDP). Newspaper clients will now be able to incorporate data collected from BlueConic’s CDP with Inka’s Cloud CRM further strengthening the newspaper’s ability to analyze how website behavior can increase content usage and paid digital subscriptions. In the process, Inka Solutions will become a value-added reseller of BlueConic.

“First party data represents an opportunity for publishers to reassert control over their business models by building stronger, direct relationships with readers and engaging more intelligently with them,” says Cory Munchbach, SVP of Strategy for BlueConic. “The BlueConic/Inka Solutions partnership brings together the strategy, technology, and implementation that publishers need to excel in this digital-first, reader-driven climate of today. We could not be more thrilled to work with Inka to drive amazing results for publishers.”

Evan Mecak of Inka Solutions agrees. “This is truly a great fit. Inka Solutions has long been a leader in managing newspaper subscription data. It only makes sense to leverage the power of BlueConic to help newspapers manage their paywall and present real-time promotions based on their online habits and current relationship with the newspaper. We are excited to partner with BlueConic and offer the leading CDP as part of our suite of solutions.”

BlueConic and Inka Solutions are currently launching their first mutual customer, Sonoma Media, Inc. (SMI) on their new partnership. On a daily basis, Inka Solutions is bringing SMI’s newspaper circulation data into BlueConic to better identify Website visitors from paid subscribers. In addition, Inka is integrating BlueConic CDP profiles into their Email Campaigner and Cloud CRM platform allowing for highly relevant email follow-up communications.

“Combining the expertise of both BlueConic and Inka Solutions has allowed us to gain a deeper insight into what readers are doing on our website, where they are clicking, and how we can get them to consume more content and eventually convert to paying customers,” says Troy Niday, Chief Operating Officer for Sonoma Media, Inc. “We are counting on this partnership to help drive the ongoing evolution of our digital pay meter strategy and to maximize the monetization of consumer digital use that helps fund our journalism.”
